Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that voters must choose between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who works even on Diwali, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who spends his summer vacations on a private island in Thailand. He asserted that the Samajwadi Party and the Congress were destroyed in the first phase of the Lok Sabha election, which was held on Friday.
Shah was speaking at a gathering for the Mathura Lok Sabha constituency, which will hold its second round of voting on April 26 in Vrindavan.
“Do Shehzade, or two princes, banded together in 2017, and the BJP won a huge majority to establish the government in Uttar Pradesh. Rahul and Akhilesh have teamed up once more, and the BJP will win by a wide majority, according to Shah.
“In this election, voters will have to choose between Rahul Baba, who spends his summer vacation on a private island in Thailand, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who works nonstop, even on Diwali,” he stated.
“The decision is between Rahul Gandhi, who was born into affluence, and Modi, who was raised in a low-income family and has no allegations of corruption. At the gathering, Shah remarked, “The Congress party’s regime had scams involving crores.”
Amit Shah, who started his address with the slogan “Radhey Radhey,” also stated, “It will be the same story in the second phase, and the lotus (a BJP symbol) will bloom from Vrindavan to Kashi again,” about the poll results.
Hema Malini, a sitting MP and BJP candidate, was the focus of the event. She is running for Mathura in her third consecutive election.
In an attempt to refute the opposition’s accusation that Hema Malini is an outsider or Pravasi, Amit Shah claimed that Malini had dedicated her life to Braj.
“We awarded Hema Malini the ticket in the 2014 Lok Sabha election because she was a well-known worldwide actor when I was in charge of Uttar Pradesh. Hemaji was one of the best sansads (MPs) in 2019, and I, as the BJP president, handed her the ticket,” Shah stated.
We have put our trust in Hema Malini in 2024 because she has elevated her devotion to Lord Krishna to unprecedented levels. There is increased demand for Mathura because she never misses a month of writing letters. The home minister stated, “She is working nonstop to establish Mathura as a centre of international renown.
To elect Narendra Modi as prime minister for a third term using “400 paar” (more than 400 seats), he urged voters in Mathura to support Hema Malini.
In the presence of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chairman Jayant Chaudhary, the BJP’s newest ally, Shah accused the Congress of refusing to award the Bharat Ratna to the late Chaudhary Charan Singh, a farmer leader and former prime minister, adding that the Modi administration had finally done so earlier this year.
In the Ram temple controversy, he also insulted the opposition.
The Ram temple dispute in Ayodhya was prolonged for 70 years by the Congress, the SP, and the BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party). However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only won the legal battle but also had Lord Ram’s Pran Pratishtha performed at the magnificent Ayodhya temple. We invited opposition parties to the festivities, but they declined the invitation because of vote-bank tactics, the man claimed.
The leader of the SP, Akhilesh Yadav, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge both scoffed at the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, but Modiji followed through on his pledge. After the Pulwama tragedy, Modi decided to cross the border and carry out a surgical strike. “Terrorism increased during the ten years of the UPA (Congress-led United Progressive Alliance) regime, but the then government remained silent,” Shah remarked.
The Indian economy was ranked eleventh in the world when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left office, but it is now ranked fifth thanks to Modi. In his third term, Modi promises to make India the third-largest economy in the world,” he declared.
