Pictures of AAP MP Raghav Chadha speaking on the phone as a crow was hovering above his head outside of Parliament triggered a verbal spat between the party and the BJP on Wednesday.
A crow swooped over Raghav’s head as he exited the House after watching Rajya Sabha sessions, and three photos altogether caught the incident. The AAP MP bowed down in response after the crow’s behavior left him obviously surprised.
Using the famous Hindi proverb “Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate” (one who lies shall be pecked by a crow), the Delhi BJP tweeted the images and said, “Today we witnessed how a crow bit a liar, something we had only heard about until now.”
Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga, a senior in the Delhi BJP, made the following mocking remark: “Deeply pained by the news of the assault by crow on Honorable MP @raghav_chadha ji. I hope everything is ok with you.

Quote tweeting the Delhi BJP’s post calling him a liar, Chadha used the popular couplet ‘Ramchandra keh gaye Siya se aisa kalyug aayega, hans chugega daana dunka kauwa moti khayega (Lord Ram had told Sita there will such an age of darkness when geese will eat grains and crows pearls) and said: “Had only heard till now but saw today.”
The Delhi BJP released a video of Chadha from a press conference in another tweet that was directed at him. He is heard in the video declaring that both Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP are utterly sincere people.

In the meanwhile, Chadha criticized the BJP for rejecting his Rajya Sabha query over the violence in Manipur. He said that the government’s reaction reveals their lack of concern for the problem.
“My query was denied on the grounds that it was not principally related to the Government of India and that it related to a legal case that was being decided by a court. This reveals the true nature of the BJP. He questioned, “Is Manipur not the duty of the Central Government?
In addition, he expressed caution about addressing subjects that are now under litigation, namely the government’s handling of the Delhi ordinance controversy.
In order to have a debate in Parliament according to rule 267, the opposition has been pressing the prime minister for clarification on the violence in Manipur in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
