An interchange has been completed near Kail village to connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Road with the Delhi-Agra National Highway. Now it has become easy to come and go from the National Highway to the Expressway. The vehicles coming from Delhi have got relief in their journey by getting rid of long detours to and from the expressway. U-turn and slip road etc. have also been constructed here for ups and downs on all sides.
Earlier, vehicles coming from Delhi and Ballabhgarh had to take a U-turn from Sikri. Now you will not have to do this. The portion of the link road from Kail village to Sohna was made operational in February. Until then, people going to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Ballabhgarh had to take a U-turn from the Sikri underpass or walk on the wrong side of the National Highway’s service road to board the expressway. Now NHAI has completely prepared the interchange near Kail. The flyover is ready to allow the Expressway Link Road to cross the National Highway.
After completion of the work on the upper part of the National Highway, now the part till Sohna near Sahupura has been made active. Vehicular movement has also started in this part. At the same time, interchange is also ready to connect the National Highway with the Expressway after kail.
According to official sources of NHAI the work on the interchange has been completed. Only the work of installing sign boards etc. is left here, which will be completed soon. Although the drivers have started using it according to their convenience. Now the work on the portion from Sahupura to Sohna has been completed. It also includes an interchange connecting the National Highway to the expressway at Kail village. People going towards Sohna and Jaipur from Delhi, Ballabhgarh and NIT need not take a long detour. Kail has different cuts to the interchange for ups and downs. There is a separate cut on the expressway for those coming from Sohna side who want to get off and on at Kail.
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Road is being constructed from DND Expressway in Noida to KMP Expressway in Sohna. Here it is connecting to the interchange being built for the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. This 59 kilometer long expressway is being built at a cost of about Rs 3580 crore. It is being constructed in three parts. In the first part, the road is being constructed from DND Expressway to Faridabad Sector-37. In this, some part of the road is being made elevated. In the second part, the bypass road of Faridabad from Sector-37 to Kail is being made 12-lane. In the third part, a new six-lane road has been constructed from Kail to KMP Expressway in Sohna. Under the third part, the work on the road from Sahupura to Sohna has been completed, on which traffic has started moving. A target has been set to complete this expressway by 2024.
