Nashik: Accident season continues on Samruddhi Highway. Four people lost their lives in a car accident while returning home after leaving relatives in Mumbai for Hajj. So 4 people are injured. The accident happened to an Innova car on the Ghoti Shirdi Samriddhi highway. The accident happened around twelve midnight. It is reported that this terrible accident took place after hitting the protective wall.
A series of accidents have started on the highway since the last fifteen days after the second phase of Samriddhi Marga, about 80 km from Shirdi to Bharveer. A terrible accident of an Innova car took place at midnight on Sunday (11th) in Sinnar taluka in the second phase of Samriddhi. At around 12:00 midnight, the driver lost control of an Innova car (No. MH-19 Y- 6074) going from Ghoti side to Shirdi side at Km 555.8 on Hindu Hrudayasamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Samrudhi Highway in Sinnar taluka at Khaparale Shiwar in Sinnar taluka and hit the guard wall in the middle of the highway. An accident happened.
Razzak Ahmad Sheikh (55), Sattar Sheikh Lal Sheikh (65), Sultana Sattar Sheikh (50) died on the spot in the accident. Fiyaz Dagubhai Sheikh (40) died while undergoing treatment. Zubair Razzaq Sheikh (35), Mairunisa Razzaq Sheikh (45), Azhar Balan Sheikh (25), Muskan Azhar Sheikh (22) were seriously injured.
After initial treatment at Sinnar, the injured have been admitted to Shirdi for further treatment. However, this accident is causing outrage in the area.
