Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, took aim at Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday, claiming that a lot of people are experiencing stomach problems as a result of the job being done by his administration.
Following the implementation of a new health project in the state, Shinde specifically made fun of his predecessor, according to PTI.
Since the state’s previous administration was overthrown, there has been a ferocious rivalry between Eknath Shinde, the current chief minister, and Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT).
Speaking at the “Shasan Aaplya Dari” (Government at Your Doorsetp) event, Shinde said that Thackeray’s administration had ceased to function but that Shinde’s appointment had brought it back to life.
“Our job is giving a lot of people stomachaches, and the ‘Shasan Aaplya Dari’ program is helping a lot of people. However, we are launching a new initiative called “Doctor at Your Doorstep” to address stomachaches, Shinde was cited as saying.
It said that the Shiv Sena leader Shinde promised to use his work to refute any accusations made by Thackeray, who has been harshly critical of the Shinde-led Shiv Sena-BJP administration and the “Shasan…” initiative.
“During the Covid-19 epidemic, you (Thackeray) worked from home, but we are getting to people’s doorsteps. Why didn’t you take use of this opportunity (as chief minister) when you had it? It said that Shinde questioned.
He noted that Thackeray had lost ground since losing power.
