Manohar Joshi, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has been hospitalized at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai due to his deteriorating health. He was admitted on Monday night after experiencing discomfort. Presently, his condition is critical, necessitating intensive care treatment.
On Tuesday, Uddhav Thackeray, along with his wife Rashmi, paid a visit to Joshi at the hospital. They met with the medical professionals responsible for his care and expressed their concern for his well-being. Thackeray also offered prayers, hoping for Joshi’s swift recovery.
Joshi, an esteemed politician, has previously served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on two occasions. Additionally, he has held the position of Union Minister and has been a member of the Rajya Sabha. Within the Shiv Sena party, he holds significant prominence and is regarded as a mentor to Uddhav Thackeray.
The Shiv Sena has requested its members and supporters to pray for Joshi’s speedy recuperation. The party has assured the public that updates regarding Joshi’s health will be provided as necessary.
