Deputy CM Fadnavis wrote on social media that till date many mothers and sisters performed aarti in the form of blessings and applied Tilak. Even today with the same feeling, a thumb reached to apply Tilak on my forehead… but this time it was not the thumb of the hand but of the foot. Such moments that come in life shake, make the eyes moist, but only for a few moments.
Wrote further that when this sister applied Tilak on my forehead with her toe, when she performed the aarti with the same thumbs, it was clearly visible in the smile on her face and the sparkle in her eyes that she was saying, “What about me?” Will defeat, I don’t need anyone’s sympathy, I don’t need anyone’s kindness, I am strong myself. Seeing her, I just said, “Sister, we are with you in every fight you fight”.
