Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a six-day tour in America, has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government over the Odisha train accident. Rahul said that such a big train accident happened, but no one has been held responsible so far, nor has Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav resigned.
Rahul Gandhi further said that BJP leaders never talk about the future and always blame someone else for their failures. Rahul, who came on a tour of America, was addressing the overseas Indians at the Javits Center in America. He also observed 60 seconds of silence in memory of those who died in the Odisha train accident.
Rahul further said, “I remember a train accident when the Congress was in power. The Congress did not say that it was the fault of the British that the train met with an accident. The then Congress minister accepted his responsibility and said I am resigning.” That’s why we have this problem, we make excuses and we are not accepting the reality we are facing,” Rahul Gandhi said.
Rahul said that BJP and RSS are unable to see the future. He said- “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to drive India’s car and he is looking in the rear-view mirror and he does not understand why this car is crashing, not moving forward.” Rahul said that this is the same view that is with both the BJP and the RSS. The Congress leader said that all BJP ministers will never talk about the future, they only talk about the past. He said that there is a battle going on in India between two ideologies – Mahatma Gandhi on one side and Nathuram Godse on the other.
