Nine Bangladeshi ladies were detained in a significant crackdown on illegal immigration on June 7th by MBVV (Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar) police officials for overstaying their visas in India without the required paperwork. They have also detained another woman who sheltered them. Based on secret information, the Naya Nagar police conducted a raid in the Shanti Nagar and Gita Nagar sections of Mira Road on June 5.
In addition, the police are searching for the owner of the residence where the women were residing. The accused are being charged under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Passport Act, and the Foreigners Act, according to the police. “Also arrested was the woman who had provided them with sanctuary. In this situation, the house’s owner is desired. According to an officer, “We have charged them under the provisions of the Foreigners Act, the Passport Act, and the Indian Penal Code.”
Notably, on February 29, the Mira Bhayandar Police detained eight illegal Rohingya immigrants in the vicinity of Bhayandar in the coastal town of Uttan. Imam Hussain Abdul Kasim (age 25), Mohammad Johar Noor Mohammad (age 39), Amir Hussain Asad Ali (age 42), Ali Hussain Abdul Sobi (age 49), Noorul Amin Yusuf Ali (age 52), Kamal Hussain Noor Kamal (age 35), Mohammad Zakir Hussain Abu Alam (age 30), and Hamid Hussain Ali Akbar (age 55) were the accused individuals originally from Myanmar. When they tried to give a slip to the police squad on February 26, they were apprehended at the fishing jetty in Chowk village. They were found to speak Hindi quite well. When they were unable to present proper documentation allowing them to remain in the nation, they were charged under the Foreigners Act and the Indian Passport Act.
In the meantime, radicals have taken over Mira Road, and the area has developed into a hub for Islamists who publicly engage in terrorist activities, carry out horrible crimes, and persecute and threaten Hindus. OpIndia has covered fifteen of these incidents from the previous year, in which these extremists terrorised the local community and attacked defenceless Hindus, their families, and particularly their daughters. These Muslim men drugged, kidnapped, tortured, and sexually raped women and girls as young as 13 years old.
Hindu women were forced into love-based relationships where they suffered abuse and torture at the hands of their Mulsim spouses. It is shocking to note that in many cases, even the mothers of the criminals’ families supported their heinous acts and made the victims marry them so they could convert to Islam. Attacks on Hindu religious processions occurred in the region as well as throughout the rest of India. With radicals on the loose, Hindus are compelled to beg for justice and their women’s safety.
It should come as no surprise that there is always a strong and clear link between these anti-social jihadi components and unlawful construction. The administration took severe action against the former, and on January 23rd, the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) demolished the illegal construction of the culprits in front of the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Security Force. On January 21st, the fanatics of Mira Road threatened and viciously attacked Hindus as they celebrated the consecration of the Ram Mandir and the Lord’s return to his home in Ayodhya after 500 years.
The complainant claimed that between fifty and sixty members of a particular group physically attacked and threatened him as he was driving around the Mira Road area. They also took off the Hindu flag he had attached to his car and battered it with rods. They attempted to kill me, screamed Allah-hu-Akhbar, and struck me in the head with an iron rod. Additionally, they puked on a poster of Lord Hanuman that they had seen on the vehicle. This has damaged our religious feelings as Hindus. They even threw stones at women and little children who rode with me, according to the official complaint.
Not only should the authorities be deeply concerned about the growing Islamist cloud over Mira Road, but they should also be concerned about the troubling patterns of providing sanctuary to infiltrators. Even more worrisome is the fact that these incidents are just the start of the issues.
The problem is significantly more dangerous and entrenched. The attacks on Hindus are the main cause of the region’s constant negative press coverage. The neighbourhood is quickly becoming a “sensitive area,” and if conditions haven’t already gotten that bad, it won’t be long before the non-Muslim community is told not to go there and Hindus will be murdered for even going there.
