The couple’s health steadily deteriorated; they started having bodily aches and ultimately had heart problems as a result of slow poisoning. Similar symptoms, such as tingling in the limbs, excruciating pain in the lower back, headache, darkened lips, and a heavy tongue, were shown by the three family members who are receiving medical treatment and the five who passed away, the report added.
According to the report, the medical officer originally believed that the ill and victims had been poisoned.
Sanghamitra, Roshan Kumbhare’s wife and the daughter-in-law of Shankar Kumbhare, was closely watched throughout the inquiry. Against the wishes of her parents, Sanghamitra wed Roshan. She had been sad ever since her father committed suicide a few months before. Additionally, her husband and her in-laws often made fun of her, which is why she wanted to get rid of them, the article quoted a senior police officer as saying.
Rosa Ramteke was the sister-in-law of Vijaya Kumbhare. She remained at a neighboring residence. She disagreed with Shankar Kumbhare’s wife and her sisters on the distribution of the inherited property of her husband’s parents, the official said.
“Sanghamitra and Rosa worked together to plan the murder of the family members. They started by looking for poisons that might be used to harm family members online,” it stated.
“Rosa Ramteke traveled to Telangana and acquired the poison that was undetectable when combined with food or drink. In reality, when being transported to a hospital in Chandrapur, Shankar Kumbhare and his wife drank poisoned water from a container; Rosa assured them that it contained herbs,” it said.
