“Love Storiyaan” is the name of a new series that Karan Johar has just recently unveiled. For the unique occasion of Valentine’s Day, the director turned to his Instagram account to explain that he has compiled a collection of real-life love stories for Amazon, similar to the Modern Love series, to celebrate the holiday.
The series, which Somen Mishra created and has six episodes per season, includes a heartwarming retelling of real-life love stories. In this series, six real-life couples from different parts of the country are highlighted, along with their stories of love, hope, happiness, and triumph over all kinds of challenges. The sixth episode of the series has been prohibited in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, and Egypt, according to the latest information that has come to light.
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, and Egypt have all placed a ban on the sixth episode of the Love Storiyaan series, which is titled Love Beyond Labels. The series is backed by Karan Johar. Tista and Dipan, a transgender couple from Kolkata, are featured in this episode, which tells the story of their love affair, which began during the time that they were undergoing their gender transition procedures. People who identify as LGBTQAI+ are said to have “limited or highly restrictive rights” in Middle Eastern countries, which is the reason why the ban was implemented in such countries.
“Love Storiyaan for us, is more than just a faithful retelling of real-life love stories,” Karan Johar, whose Dharmatic Entertainment is responsible for producing the series, remarked about the show. A lovely picture of ties that go beyond the every day is painted by the series, which examines love in all of its guises.
A total of six filmmakers, namely Akshay Indikar, Archana Phadke, Collin D’Cunha, Hardik Mehta, Shazia Iqbal, and Vivek Soni, have been responsible for capturing the stories via their distinct perspectives. Executive producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra are responsible for the production of this film, which is a Dharmatic Entertainment production.
Former journalists PRIYA RAMANI, SAMAR HALARNKAR, and NILOUFER VENKATRAMAN founded the social media community known as the India Love Project. REAL-LIFE STORIES FEATURED ON THE INDIA LOVE PROJECT INSPIRED LOVE STORIYAAN.
