Ganeshotsav is celebrated all over the country. Ganesh Chaturthi, which started from 19th September, will be celebrated with similar pomp across the country till 28th September. On Wednesday, the amount of offerings made in the donation box of the king of Lalbagh on the first day was counted.
Wednesday is the second day of Ganeshotsav. On this day, the donation box of the ‘Lalbaugcha Raja’ was opened to know how much offering the devotees had made on the first day. When the money kept in the donation box was counted, the amount reached 42 lakhs. Apart from this, devotees also offer gold and silver to their beloved Bappa. Let us tell you that devotees have also offered 198.55 grams of gold and 5440 grams of silver.
Ganesh Utsav has started grandly on 19th September which is going to last for 10 days. That means this festival will continue till 28th September. For these 10 days, you will get to see the enthusiasm of this festival in every corner of the country, but the maximum enthusiasm is seen in Maharashtra. Even in Maharashtra, ‘Lalbaugcha Raja’, Mumbai is the most popular Ganesh Mandal. Lakhs of people from India and abroad come to see ‘Lalbaugcha Raja’. According to the information received from the officials of Ganesh Mandal of Lalbagh, about 1 crore people come here for darshan during Ganesh Utsav.
