But a shocking thing came to light in Maharashtra’s Baramati, where thieves got astrological auspicious times to commit a robbery of Rs 1 crore. Then committed robbery according to the auspicious time. The robbery was also successful. But after 4 months the robbery was busted and the dacoits were caught by the police.
In the case of robbery of one crore, the police has arrested five dacoits along with an astrologer. According to the information, four months ago, robbers had stolen a total of one crore seven rupees including rupees, mobile, at eight o’clock in the night at Sagar Shivaji Gofne’s house in Devkatenagar under Baramati taluka police station by tying his wife Trupti’s hands and legs.
Seeing the seriousness of such a big theft, Special Inspector General of Police Sunil Fulari himself was paying attention to the investigation of this theft. Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal appointed teams from the local crime branch. Based on technical analysis and intelligence inputs, the robbers were finally arrested after four months.
According to the police, the criminals who carried out the robbery are laborers in MIDC. The police have arrested Sachin Ashok Jagdhane, Raiba Tanaji Chavan, Ravindra Shivaji Bhosle, Duryodhan Dhanaji Jadhav and Nitin Arjun More on the charges of this robbery. 76 lakh 32 thousand rupees have been recovered from the robbers.
Pune SP Ankit Goyal told that the incident of robbery took place on April 21 in Devkatenagar of Urbangram area of Baramati. The robbers planned a robbery at the house of Sagar Goffane, who works in real estate. Before that asked an astrologer for an auspicious time and entered his house on the same day and time.
Sagar’s wife was taken hostage and shut her mouth, threatened her and the dacoits fled with all the cash and jewelry kept at the house. The robbers told the police that the astrologer had taken a hefty amount for telling them the auspicious time of the robbery. This officer of Pune Rural said that we have arrested astrologer Ramchandra Chava for his role in this crime. We have also recovered Rs 76 lakh. At present, investigation is going on in the matter.
