The meeting between Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar in Pune took place at the house of an industrialist.
Actually Ajit Pawar had gone to this meeting to tell Sharad Pawar about BJP’s offer. This claim has been made by former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan. According to Media, Prithviraj Chavan has spoken openly about the offer made by BJP to Sharad Pawar.
Sharad Pawar has been offered the post of Union Agriculture Minister and Chairman of NITI Aayog by BJP. Prithviraj Chavan said, as far as I know, Sharad Pawar has rejected this offer made by Ajit Pawar. This offer was made to Sharad Pawar in a meeting held at industrialist Atul Chordia’s residence in Pune. Jayant Patil was also present there at that time.
Ajit Pawar rebelled in NCP along with some MLAs. Even after this, Ajit Pawar has maintained dialogue with Sharad Pawar. Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar met on Saturday evening, this was the third meeting. It is being told that this Pune tour is a part of the current meeting.
