Thane police in Maharashtra have registered a case against a man for threatening a teaching staff who reprimanded a student for cheating during a college exam. The incident took place on Tuesday when the invigilator of Bhiwandi College reprimanded a third year Bachelor of Arts student for cheating during the Geography exam.
Narpoli police station’s assistant inspector Vaishali Sarwade said that the invigilator reprimanded the student who was cheating and released him with a warning. However, when the student continued to cheat even after this, the supervisor threatened to complain to the principal.
After this the student left the college premises and came back with a person named Dadu Gaikwad. The person misbehaved with the principal, co-principal and staff of the college. He was calling himself the vice president of RPI. Police have currently registered a case against the person. Till now no arrest has been made in this case.
