Ajit Pawar rebelled against NCP chief Sharad Pawar and joined hands with the BJP-Eknath Shinde faction over party MLAs. Presently Ajit Pawar is the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. If sources are to be believed, Ajit Pawar and his fellow ministers and MLAs are trying to pacify the angry Sharad Pawar. Sources say that if Sharad Pawar agrees, then the path may be cleared for Supriya Sule to become a minister in the Union Cabinet expansion.
Ajit Pawar faction minister reached to meet Sharad Pawar. These people includes Chhagan Bhujbal, Aditi Tatkare, Hasan Mushrif. A meeting of all NCP ministers was organized this morning at Ajit Pawar’s official residence Devagiri Bungalow. It was decided in this meeting that Sharad Pawar’s blessings will be taken before the commencement of the monsoon session. It was also decided in this meeting not to make personal attacks on MLAs of Sharad camp during the session. The result of this meeting is yet to come.
On this matter, Jayant Patil says that I have received a call from Supriya Sule. They have asked me to reach YB Chavan Center at the earliest. I don’t know what Ajit Pawar and other MLAs have come here to do. When Supriya Sule called Jayant Patil, he was in the meeting of the United Opposition.
