Manoj Jarange-Patil, an activist for the Maratha quota, claimed on Sunday that Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, is interested in putting an end to the influence of the Maratha in the state.
Jarange Patil threatened to march to the residence of the deputy chief minister in Mumbai, at which point he accused Fadnavis of plotting a conspiracy against him.
“The DCM Fadnavis is looking for my concession. We are going to travel to his home in Sagar. According to Jarange-Patil, Fadnavis has the intention of completing the Maratha community.
In addition to this, he asserted that Fadnavis had plotted against him and the Marathas.
“Devendra Fadnavis is determined to put an end to the dominance of the Maratha community in the state, as well as the obstacles that have been created in the process of implementing Sage-Soyare notification. Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister, and Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister, are powerless in the face of Fadnavis. Without Fadnavis’s approval, there is no possibility of anything happening in the state. According to Jarange-Patil, Fadnavis was also participating in divide-and-rule politics among the Maratha community. Furthermore, he was the architect behind the fabrication of claims made by Ajay Baraskar.
Baraskar has alleged that Jarange-Patil has changed his demands to reach a compromise with the government. During his presentation to his followers on Sunday, Jarange-Patil accused Fadnavis of inciting people to make negative statements about him.
Jarange Patil desires that all Marathas be classified as Kunbi, which is a caste in Maharashtra that falls within the OBC bloc, and that they be granted quota by this classification. Additionally, he is advocating for the authorization of Kunbi registration for one’s blood relatives.
