According to authorities, a 78-year-old woman’s decomposing corpse was discovered in an apartment in Rajendra Nagar in Mumbai’s Borivali neighborhood on Wednesday.
Sulochana Bhaskar Shetty has been named as the dead. The corpse was taken into custody by Kasturba police, who then submitted it for an autopsy.
An accident death report (ADR) case has been filed, and additional investigation has begun.
