The number of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai increased by six on Wednesday, bringing the total to 11,64,033, although no new deaths associated with the virus were reported in the city, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The number of fatalities remained at 19,775. The financial capital had three Covid-19 instances and no fatalities the day before. 579 coronavirus tests were carried out in the city, bringing the total number to 1,89,11,743, according to a BMC report.
Three people recovered from the respiratory disease on the previous day, bringing the total number of recoveries up to 11,44,233, according to the report. The alert said that there are now 25 ongoing Covid-19 cases in the city.
