On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid rich tribute to the late Lalji Tandon on the occasion of his 28th birthday. His whole life was devoted to advancing the well of society.
On this occasion, the chief minister dedicated Shatabdi Vistar Bhavan, a new faculty at the institution, in honour of the former governor of Madhya Pradesh and Bihar and unveiled a large monument of Late Lalji Tandon on the grounds of Kalicharan Vidhyalaya, Hardoi Road, Lucknow.
Lalji Tandon’s “greatness,” “gentleness,” and “simplicity,” according to Yogi, were reflections of his journey as a party worker, minister, well-liked lawmaker, and governor who ensured the welfare of the people and advanced progress.
He spoke of meeting Lalji Tandon Ji and seeing how well-liked he was among the party members. “His fans, who came from Lucknow as well as Patna, filled the whole Raj Bhavan in Patna. In his speech, Yogi said that the Lalji Tandon Foundation has advanced various public welfare initiatives while upholding and preserving Tandonji’s memories and beliefs. “Tandon Ji possessed a comprehensive understanding of Lucknow’s economy, politics, growth, and social philosophy. He has made a tremendous contribution to Lucknow’s growth, the speaker said.
Tandon ji reportedly had a lengthy affiliation with Kalicharan College, according to CM Yogi. “The liberation movement was seen on this campus. Eminent authors and scientists have come out of this institution. First in charge here was renowned Hindi prose author Shyam Sundar Das. Many writers, social workers, scientists, and politicians have come from this institution, he said.
In addition, Yogi said that the only force that can bring about social transformation is education. Changes will be more noticeable in all aspects of life the more we collaborate in this area. While paying tribute to Tandon ji’s memory, CM Yogi made a request of the administration, noting that this institution has a 118-year history.
