According to a BSF official, on Tuesday, the Border Security Force (BSF) killed a Pakistani invader while thwarting a significant attempt to smuggle drugs over the International Border (IB).
The spokeswoman said that the assailant’s possessions included four kg of drugs.
A Pakistani smuggler who was attempting to transport drugs via the Ramgarh border region was neutralized in the intervening night of July 24 and 25, according to the spokesperson in Jammu.
He said that four packets of alleged drugs, each weighing one kilogram, were discovered close to the deceased’s corpse during the first investigation of the area.
Earlier, according to authorities, vigilant border guards saw unusual activity late on Monday night at the S M Pura post in the Ramgarh sector and opened fire after the alleged intruder disregarded their repeated warnings.
According to the authorities, the identity of the dead is still unknown as they continue their investigation of the region.
