ARY News quoted the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) as saying that two Pakistani Army soldiers were killed during a gunfight with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district. Apart from this, two terrorists have also been killed in retaliation.
There was a shootout between security forces and terrorists on Saturday, in which two terrorists were killed. The ISPR said that during the exchange of fire, Ghulam Murtaza and constable Muhammad Anwar fought the terrorists firmly, but both were killed by bullet injuries.
The media wing of the army said that the operation is being carried out against the terrorists present in the area. The army issued a press release saying that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
According to ARY News, a day earlier ISPR said that two terrorists were killed by security forces during an encounter in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Dosali area of North Waziristan district. The ISPR said the security forces effectively retaliated to the firing of the terrorists, resulting in the killing of two terrorists.
