Of the five Gaza conflicts, the conflict that began on October 7 has turned out to be the bloodiest on both sides. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 2,778 Palestinians have died and 9,700 have been injured. The victims from Tuesday night’s hospital explosion in Gaza are not included in this number. According to The Associated Press, another 1,200 individuals in Gaza are thought to be buried under the debris, either alive or dead. Over 1,400 people have died in Israel, and at least 199 more—some of them children—have been arrested by Hamas and transported to Gaza.
