Raj Thackeray, the president of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), said on Tuesday that Sharad Pawar, the head of the NCP, may have personally approved of the political events in Maharashtra.
Speaking to reporters, he discussed how NCP leader Ajit Pawar and eight other MLAs left the Sharad Pawar-led party on Sunday by joining the Shiv Sena-BJP administration in the state. “What has occurred in the state is abhorrent.Raj Thackeray said that this amounted to nothing more than an insult to the state’s voters.
In Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar initiated all of these initiatives. In 1978, he tried out the ‘Pulod’ (Purogami Lokshahi Dal) administration for the first time. Maharashtra has never before seen such political situations. All of these events had Pawar as their beginning and their conclusion, he said.
The MNS leader then said that Sharad Pawar may be responsible for the current events. “Praful Patel, Dilip Walse-Patil, and Chhagan Bhujbal are not the ones who will go with Ajit Pawar (on their own and without Pawar senior’s blessings),” he said.
