Former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma has been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court. The bail has been granted for a period of three weeks to allow Sharma to attend to his ailing wife. Sharma is currently facing charges related to his alleged involvement in the conspiracy to murder Mansukh Hiren, the Thane-based businessman whose explosive-laden SUV was found near Mukesh Ambani’s residence in February 2021.

Pradeep Sharma was arrested in June 2021 in connection with the investigation into the explosive-laden SUV case. On February 25, 2021, an SUV belonging to Thane-based businessman Mansukh Hiren was discovered near Antilia, the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Sadly, Hiren’s lifeless body was found in the Mumbra Bay on March 5, 2021.
Sharma has been accused of involvement in the conspiracy to murder Mansukh Hiren. Currently, he is in judicial custody pending the ongoing investigation into the case.
