The wound of the Odisha train accident has not yet healed and now a train accident took place in Andhra Pradesh. A goods train derailed between Thadi and Anakapalle railway stations in Anakapalle district here. Due to this, the movement of trains on the railway has been affected. Along with this, many trains have been canceled and one train has been rescheduled.
Many trains were canceled
According to information, the coal-laden goods train derailed at around 3.35 am. After this accident, South Central Railway has canceled six trains. Train numbers 12805 Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli, 22701 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada, 22702 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam and 17240 Visakhapatnam-Guntur were canceled on Wednesday. Two trains running on Thursday have been cancelled. These include 12806 Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam and 17239 Guntur-Visakhapatnam.
CBI is probing Odisha train accident
CBI has started investigation after the train accident in Balasore, Odisha. A 10-member team reached the spot for investigation. Along with the team, the forensic team also collect important evidence from the accident site. Let us tell you that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had asked the CBI to investigate the Odisha train accident, after which a CBI team reached the accident site. The Balasore Railway Police had registered an FIR in this matter on 3 June.
